NEXT MONTH'S MOVIES AND OTHER STUFF

We finished episode nine on Saturday night and it will be posted this week as soon as editing is done. Be warned, it's just short of two hours! We're long-winded anyway, but this time we had a very good discussion on the "sacred cow" of British horror films; The Wicker Man. We had a lot of fun recording this one and we think it will be worth your time to listen in.

We've also re-released episode one, the introduction to the Crypt. For some reason iTunes dropped it when we bought more storage for our Libsyn account. Rather than continuing on with more episodes, we felt it important to re-post episode one because of the important content that it contains about what we are trying to accomplish. If you're a late comer to the podcast, please take a listen.

EPISODE 8

So, check it out; Episode 8 is up and it sounds pretty damn good. Unfortunately, I titled it The Brides of Frankenstein & Madhouse. Stupid mistake, but I'm pretty sure I typed it up that way because I was watching House of Frankenstein last night while I was uploading it.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

Eric (@lugosi6) and I started chatting last week about Christmas gifts and what would be good to buy for the picky British horror film fan. Here's a list of a few things we came up with.

We'll start with the cheap and simple:

The Brain Candle: Who wouldn't want this thing in their office/laboratory?

We love our comics and these are cheap, so check out some Creepy comics as gifts. ( pair it up with a set of these). It's Bernie Wrightson, guys. C'mon.

Head on over to the Chopping Mall and pick up a few shirts. I'll take this one.

Here's the book that Ryan just picked up. This thing has already proved its worth during recording. It's incredible.

Feeling dirty after watching The Reptile? Wash up with a few of these.

For the drunken horror fan on your list.

A 12" Plague of the Zombies figure?!? Pricey, but worth it.

FILMS FOR NOVEMBER

Ryan is in the process of editing episode 7 and should have it done in the next day or two. It's a good 1 1/2 hours or so. We figured we had to make up for our tardiness.

I wanted to post the movies for next month so you guys (and gals? maybe?) can get a head start on watching them. Since it's still October and most of you are in the mood for horror movies more than ever, maybe you could throw these on your watch list for this month.
