Hello, Everyone.
We miss the hell out of you. We really do.
Everything is going well, but we're still a bit busy with life and such. Ryan and his lovely wife had their baby boy earlier this month, so he's had his hands full with all the craziness that comes with having a new born. Everything is going well though and Momma and baby are home healthy and happy.
We've been talking a bit lately about films we want to watch and Ryan has been catching up on his new love; Night Gallery.
We'll be back at recording very, very soon. In the meantime, make sure to watch some horrors and let us know what you've been watching!

EPISODE 15: THE GHOUL & TWINS OF EVIL
Episode 15 is available for download here and on iTunes. If you like what you hear (and we know you do!), feel free to leave us a positive rating and a review. There's more about that during the episode.
During this episode, Ryan talks about his love for Rod Serling's Night Gallery that he's been watching on our new favorite television channel that also airs Svengoolie. We discussed the iconic paintings of the program and Ryan later found a few links about the paintings and how to get a hold of your own re-creation.
We also read a few emails from the official Crypt Librarian, Eric and our good friend, Brian. Eric brought up some childhood memories of watching Asylum, and it reminded Jim of a show that messed with him when he was a kid; The Darkroom. You probably don't remember it because it only ran for one season, but it made quite the impression on young Jim.
The films we chose for Episode 16:
Jim
Quatermass and the Pit (1967)

The Vampire Lovers (1970)
You should have plenty of time to watch these two films. With a new addition to his family, Ryan will be pretty busy and we may not record for a couple of months or more. Jim will update the blog more regularly with tidbits we find on the web and notable news.
As always, email us with anything you'd like to discuss.

REST IN PEACE, RICHARD MATHESON
We were saddened to hear about the loss of iconic author and screen writer, Richard Matheson. Besides writing I Am Legend, What Dreams May Come, and a bunch of Twilight Zone episodes, he also wrote the screenplays for a few of our very favorite British films; The Devil Rides Out and Burn, Witch, Burn.
The guys over at Geeks of Doom wrote a very nice article on his life and work. Check it out.

EPISODE 14: ASYLUM & BURN, WITCH, BURN (NIGHT OF THE EAGLE)
I apologize for the late post. Get off my case!
Hopefully you've already listened and have at least started watching the films we've chosen to discuss for episode 15. Which two films did we choose?
Well, I picked The Ghoul (1975)
And Ryan?
Well, he picked another Cushing movie: Twins of Evil (1971).

Ryan has the Blu Ray of Twins of Evil, so we'll be talking about that as well.

| V/H/S movie poster featuring Radio Silence by Tony Moore |
The last story in the film, titled 10/31/98, was made by a group of filmmakers who call themselves Radio Silence. According to Wikipedia, Radio Silence was brought into V/H/S after the director watched the YouTube video Mountain Devil Prank Fails Horribly.

SLIMY LIMEY TIME(Y)!
We've awarded the first ever Slimy Limey Award to...nope...we're not going to let you cheat. You'll have to listen in order to find out which film was chosen!
It was a great time recording episode 13. Special thanks to Brian and Eric for Skyping in to chat with us for a bit. We'll have to do that more often. Maybe we can get some listeners in the UK to join us sometime.
During episode 13 we also went over our revamped top 10 lists. You want to see them? Okay, I won't tease you like I did at the beginning of this post with the Slimy Limey. Here they are:
Ryan:
1 - Tales From The Crypt
Man. I laugh every time I look at it.

THE POLL...SHE IS...BROKEN.
Stupid blogger poll! I put that simple little thing up to make it as easy as possible to vote for the Slimy Limey, but the damn thing isn't working. I have no idea why. I've messed with it multiple times and it still doesn't show any votes.
No matter. I will leave the poll up so you can see the list of nominees. You'll have to email or tweet us your favorite instead. I apologize for the inconvenience.
11 days left to vote!
